Review of Briefing and Debriefing for Field Staff in OCG

The evaluation of briefing and debriefing processes for field staff in OCG aimed at assessing the current situation by consolidating and synthesising existing information, in search of alternative models to increase the utility for and satisfaction of staff as well as to economise the procedures for HQ staff. The report elaborates on current perceptions of briefings and debriefings in different MSF sections and OCs as well as on special areas of concern. Recommendations comprise various important issues, such as purpose of briefings and debriefings, target group of face-to-face briefings and debriefings, responsible actors, role of home sections, etc.
