Evaluation of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Project in Port-À-Piment, Haiti

En français ci-dessous

Launched in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew in 2016, the Port-à-Piment (PaPim) project gradually evolved from an emergency intervention into a comprehensive sexual and reproductive health project from 2022 onwards. Guided by the Three Delays, it is built around a network of obstetric and neonatal care facilities, as well as community-based health promotion and referral systems, with the aim of reducing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality by improving timely access to quality care and strengthening referral and transport systems.

The evaluation aimed to assess the progress and impact of the PaPim project from 2022 to 2025, as well as its prospects for sustainability beyond the planned end of the project cycle in 2027.
