The MSF LEAP programme is a fully funded, flexible, post-graduate programme for Médecins Sans Frontières MSF) staff. This evaluation reviewed the impact of LEAP on the professional development of graduates, and on the demographic composition and capabilities of MSF’s leadership.

Due to the urgency around needing to establish more effective treatment regimen for DR-TB, and despite MSF not being a medical research organization, the discussion about launching a TB clinical trial in MSF came onto the agenda of the MSF Movement’s leadership in the early 2010s. This resulted in the initiation of the PRACTECAL project in 2013 within MSF OCA, with a main goal of identifying a better DR-TB treatment regimen containing some of the newly available drugs, but also to eventually advocate for its uptake “everywhere […] in national protocols and global policy and guidelines”.

The Southeast and East Asia-Pacific Project (SEEAP) is a formal partnership between the Institutional members of MSF Hong Kong, Japan, and Australia in close collaboration with the branch office of The Republic of Korea.

The objective of this exercise is to summarise the experiences of MSF working with survivors of torture and ill treatment (SOiT), ensuring they are considered when embarking in future similar activities or simply to keep a record of MSF’s achievements and challenges.

The Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Kiambu People Who Use Drugs (PWUD) project, which started in September 2019, had enrolled 590 PWUD in its Medically Assisted Therapy (MAT) program by April 2022. This project provides a one-stop-shop model, offering a comprehensive range of medical and psychosocial services. This study aimed to explore how PWUD navigate from heroin use to MAT enrolment.

This evaluation highlights both strengths and challenges of the MOM model, including opportunities for the future based on lessons learned from this experience.

The current evaluation examines PRV's potential in promoting DEI within MSF, using the PRV Framework’s grassroots approach as a benchmark for its potential wider application throughout MSF missions. The evaluation objectives included determining the Framework's capacity to promote DEI, pinpointing essential factors for its successful deployment, documenting the concrete outcomes from its pilot implementations, and generating insights to guide future DEI efforts within MSF.

This evaluation report summarises key learning around MSF-Germany’s (MSF-G) strategic plan (SP) (2021-2024) to improve and inform decisions, support resource allocation and inform strategic priorities for MSF-G’s 2025-2029 SP. This evaluation was commissioned by the MSF-G general director (GD) and head of strategy and planning, and completed by Standard of Proof, in collaboration with the MSF Vienna Evaluation Unit (VEU).

Despite declining TB notifications in Southern Africa, TB-related deaths
remain high. We describe patient- and population-level trends in TB-related deaths in Eswatini over a period of 11 years.

Desde 2012 as tasas de homicidios a nivel nacional han disminuido, pero Tegucigalpa sigue siendo uno de los lugares con las tasas más altas del país, lo que se suma al nivel de insatisfacción con el gobierno. A nivel nacional, MSF sigue siendo un actor principal para la prestación de atención a las víctimas de violencia sexual (VS) y otras situaciones de violencia (OVS), a través de sus programas en Tegucigalpa (Departamento Francisco Mazarron) y en San Pedro Sula/Choloma (Departamento Cortes). El Ministerio de Salud carece de políticas o regulaciones que garanticen la atención médica, salud reproductiva comprensiva o de salud mental de esta población.
